Local Businesses Don't Miss Out on the Best Investment You Can Make!
To cut to the chase it is using Meta Ads.
Meta being umbrella name for Facebook and Instagram.
Running ads on these platforms is like having a real-life cheat code for making money for your business.
If you haven't got to enjoy the fruits of Meta. This series of posts will be right up your street.
Even if you are witnessing success from Meta, read along to confirm your beliefs and let me know your thoughts.
Take a Look at WHY Meta Ads Are the BEST Business Investment:
Numbers don't lie.
And Meta's are quite Earth shattering. Almost hard to believe.
They have 1.56 billion ACTIVE daily users. Think of how big the US is. Now multiply that by 5. A whole 20% of the world frequents the platform.
You are probably thinking people don't spend that long on social media though.
Not exactly, the average usage is an hour per DAY. A whole 7% of the average waking day.
If these stats aren't enough, you should know how north of 160million businesses are on Facebook interacting with customers. If you don't, you’re missing out.
You may also think that your clientele won't be on the platform. Everyone is on Meta, as studies show how almost 75% of high-income earners have Facebook.
What are you waiting for? Share a piece of the pie.
Is Google a Superior Ad Platform for Local Businesses?
You argue the capabilities of Google as an ad platform.
Just like Facebook it is a great way to get more customers through the door.
Your main issue on Google? The competition. Unlike Facebook, you can easily get drowned out on Google, rendering your ad pointless with large spend.
Facebook also contributes to 'omnichannel' marketing.
'Omni what?' I hear you saying.
Simply put you click on a Meta ad and decide to go explore the company's website. You leave the site without buying anything, then a couple days go by, and you decide to buy.
What do you do? You Google the company.
Your purchase is now classified as a sale thanks to Google. In reality it was thanks to Facebook exposing you to the company.
Without Facebook you may not even know about certain companies that you purchase from.
How to Decide What to Spend on Your Ads.
Once you are on board with Meta Ads, you need to figure out what to spend.
First understand you have 2 main budget types:
1. Daily = average you will spend per day e.g., at £20/day you would not spend more than £100 over 5 days (but one day could be £25 and the next £15).
2. Total = how much Meta spends before it stops promoting the ad e.g., at £100, once Meta spends that your ad is finished being showed to new people.
Now that is out of the way, you are probably looking for a formula. It is not that simple as there are lots of factors as follows:
- Your business goals
- Testing phase
- Audience size
- Ad quality
- Your competition on Meta
- How long you plan to run ads
These are some of the main ones but can also be other factors too.
Is There a Minimum You Can Spend to Start with Meta Ads?
In a nutshell there isn't. You can put as little as you want.
However, you cannot just hope to spend £1/day and reap massive rewards.
That is not how Meta works. It is magical, but not that magical.
The main problem we see is the businesses who spend fortunes on a whole assortment of things but become hesitant to spend much when the word 'ads' is mentioned.
They will also spend more per day on a coffee than they want to on an ad. All the while expecting to get huge returns.
Meta ads are an investment. They do pay off. But you need to pay to play.
For all our clients, we have a primary goal for running ads. This is to reach a point of getting £2 back for every £1 spent on ads. This is a minimum and completely realistic.
